heyyo all!(:
i bet you people miss me right.. never see me for band today
HAHAHAH! ;D
[oooh guess my stomachache is making me dam egoistic ;p ]
ahh whatever it is.. wasn't feeling well in the morning so never go for band
i think i kenna food poisoning. keep going to the toilet :/
or maybe the food i ate yesterday don't match..
then become some rojak, mix mix around in my stomach and created those 'shit' stuff
HAHHAHA! okayokay. quit joking(:

sec one orientation today!
i can't believe i missed my FIRST section competition and now i miss my LAST sec1 orientation =.="
lousy lah. but what to do?..
blame it on the food i eat. LOL.

well, i hope you all performed to the best of your ability today! ;D
i'm sure you all did.. otherwise we won't have SO MANY SEC ONES!
[is 78 considered 'many'? yeah should be.. hahah]
what's the next step we gotta do?..
WORK 'HARD' to make sure no sec1s quit band!

okayyy.. well..

to the sec 2s,
time to buck up!
because you will be buddies to this batch of sec1s.
though it's only 2 of you, i'm sure both of you can do it!
so.. must start practising now ah..
in order to get the the sec1s to listen to you and.. be able to learn the cornet fast!

to the sec 3s,
it's time the 3 of you learn how to lead the section.
plan sectionals! update the blog!
post whatever you want..
if you think a certain part of die fledermaus or overture one or whatever concert pieces is not up to standard, then just post it!
don't have to wait for phoebe or i to say yeah.
after all, we will be graduating soon and the 3 of you will be taking over..
learn to help one another, to bring the section to greater heights(:
[don't just rely on the future SL ah.. remember, band is all about teamwork ;D]

last but not least, to the sec4s.
though it is our last few months with the band,
we must not slack!
don't forget there is still SYF and this 15th anniversary thingy coming up for us
i'm sure all of you will want to get into SYF right?
so.. WORK HARD!(:

ap oh!
first of all congrats to all the ex sec 4s--mel, fran and jasmine!
i think yall are at least quite happy with yr results..
ok if i ever get that kind of results..trust me i will jump up to the sky (out of happiness)

according to Mao i will jump and never come down..LOL
because i was so happy for our seniors i couldnt stop talking.. i m serious, yall really rock man..
i hope i will do well to..no..i must do well!!!!

majulah was crap today.. quite pissed with myself and maybe a little with the section..
seriously stop yr i cant do it lingo..
classic example was today's assembly..
yall say cannot then yall dont try, and then u end up putting pressure on those who think u can depend on, AND THAN they wont up to standard AND THEN our section ends up terrible..
but in actual fact yall can play like what happen during sectionals today..yall did a great job!
but sadly at the wrong time..

so this month's most impt target is to get yall high notes done(above high concert F)
it cant always be the same few ppl backing yall up..
You have to step up and not hide!

YOYOYO! i'm back(:

let's see. what 'rubbish' should i post today?
OHH! I KNOW!
BAND ON SATURDAY! ;D..

sectionals was fun eh? i hope you all will continue looking forward to it, especially the one on monday and OF COURSE, next saturday(:

uhmm.. regarding the thingy that happened during break [you know the one where sihui and cheryl were trying to learn how to play twinkle twinkle little star/blah blah black sheep/do rae mi from me..] i've got no comments. HAHAH but i thought it was real funny(: want learn again come ask me in private. LOL.

well, from where i was sitting, i think we played die fledermaus not bad. [excluding the firsts part, no stamina.. (: ] thumbs up to all seconds and thirds for being able to play the off beat part at N and R!

any other questions regarding die fledermaus FEEL FREE to ask..

overture one was not bad too, but i can't really tell since it was only a run-through. this week try to concentrate on that kay. *hint hint*

tomorrow's MAJULAH! are you all looking forward to it?(: WELL.. [i know i'm like always the one mispitching lah..] BUT! practise makes perfect............... hahahah.

ok ppl u have to start waking up!!
its 3 more months to SYF..
PLEASE SELF PRACTICE EVEN MORE!(we are also gg to have more sectionals)

we are gg to have sectionals this THURS from 2.30pm to 4.30pm..
as ST mentioned in her tag..
we need to work on Hot latin and Sway
we MUST play well and attratct more sec ones,for the future of our band!

to those who didnt come last prac:pls 24th of march free for soundcheck and collect yr band contactlist from me

talking abt the future yall must start learning to be independent..yall are sec 3 and 2s so yall have to step up.
pls read what ST has written..
yall must start using more AIR..
ITS FREE!!!with the economic downturn, air is like the only thing u no need to stare at the market to decide if u want to use it..YOU HAVE TO USE IT.
i dont want to keep repeating myself and make myself feel like a parrot.

at the same time i would like to say good job to cheryl!
cos she has started to use more warm air to play and now she doesnt sound flat!
you see ppl air and can work wonders.
and like what ST said abt celestine..
all of u can do it!

ok a few things i must make myself and the section clear abt.
1)pls be punctual for sectionals
2)notify me or ST if u cant come and the reason why..sectionals is impt too, w/o one person things cant run smoothly
3) dont talk during sectionals unless i give yall a break then yall can scream and i will not care..(but i think other ppl in the sch would, but thats yr prob)
4)when its not yr turn to play u can talk but dont disrupt the person playing

ok only four things..simple?
the rest of it is yr SL's and ASL's responsibility, to teach yall

i really hope yall can be serious esp when SYF is coming
i bet all of u dont want to disappoint others and most imptly yourself
why wait until its too late when u can start now
and then next time u can look back and smile..

HMMMS. i think i'm a bit blind..

okay. whatever it is.. band today was FUNNY?
especially sitting beside cheryl lim.. TSK(:
HAHAH! first rehearsal with our new conductor though..
get used to it (FAST) yeah.
not much time till SYF ;D

ahh by the way.
if SI HUI and CHERYL and maybe, CELESTINE,
were wondering why the hell i was so crazy and irritating today by making sure you all play LOUD [by blasting]
was because we didn't want anyone to UNDERBLOW.

hey there!
how's life? or rather how's school life?
yay! school has started...
although all of us would prefer the holidays but let us just look on the bright side...
at least we still get to see our friends everyday except sat and sun..
unlike after u graduate u will be "school-less" like mel and fran and jasmine..
work hard now and u can play like mad l8r at least for sec4s it would be that case
ok i m damn worried for "O"s now!!

ok sorry.. i m drifting off from my point..
serious....
there is band tmr ppl! from 8 am to 1pm
so be punctual and wear the correct attire.
(so far our section has been fine with attire..yay..but just dont let it slip yr mind) :)
tmr shall be a great practice with Mr C. Tan!
